Can a moving company move food?

We Do Not Accept any perishable or frozen food inside the truck. Please give away or donate the perishable/frozen items.

What happens if movers damage the furniture?

Depending on the coverage you have, we will rather try to fix it, replace or provide compensation in accordance with the purchased value protection plan.

How can i file a claim with moving company?

When do movers arrive for pickup?

During the booking process you will be provided with the pickup window, you also may specify the most comfortable time for you while speaking to your long-distance moving coordinator.

Do I have to present during the pickup/delivery ?

Rather you or your consignee have to present on the property during the pickup and delivery. In the case you will have a consignee, you must provide all consignee information prior to the pickup/delivery date. The reason behind is that you will have to sign the legal paperwork and inventory lists.

We definitely do! We use our trusted 3rd party carrier, to cover this part. The pickup date and delivery of your vehicle also could be aligned with your needs.

How to reschedule a move?

In the case the plans have changed, and you want to reschedule the move for an earlier or later date, please give a call to your long-distance moving coordinator and we will do our best to accommodate the changes.

Are the Taxes included?

Our estimates include all charges you will face while moving lon-distance. The tax rate payable is the Delivery Province Tax.

How does moving company determine the weight of the shipment?

Before coming to your address we will take the weight the truck on a certified scale location. After we done loading your belongings we will take the weight again. The difference between Empty and Loaded weight is Your Shipment weight.

Do you own your fleet?

Our fleet is owned by Hercules Moving Company, however sometimes we do rent trucks from corporate rentals. Specifically when the shuttle service was not planned but needed.

Do you have any Storage Facilities?

Hercules Moving Company has a coast to coast network of secure storage facilities.

How do you differentiate my belongings from other clients?

At the pickup date long-distance movers will prepare the inventory list as well as label every single item which goes inside the shipment. When we bring the items to the warehouse, your shipment will be loaded into the storage vault, which is exclusive per one client.

What is Consolidated Shipping?

Consolidated trip means that during the transit the trailer/container might/will hold more than one shipment.

What is FTL?
