Toronto Corporate Run 2018

Toronto Corporate Run is a charity after work event organized by Good Times Running and supported by Hercules Moving Company, VIA Rail, Pepsi and the Ministry of Health of Canada. More and more corporations, businesses and companies in Toronto annually participate in this team building event with a purpose of fitness, fundraising and getting employees and management better know each other socially outside of work.

Your team can support CAMH Foundation or/and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities through donations and pledges. You are also welcome to help your local charity organizations.

Whether you and your coworkers want to get the joy of running, be a part of huge fundraising or just to have fun – you'll get memorable experience and full networking opportunities.

Toronto Corporate Run Details and Mapping

36th annual Toronto Corporate Run is a 5km marathon that will take place on Wednesday, 25th of September 2018 at a beautiful Ontario Place location with the most scenic route in the city and thoughtful finish line rewards. Many teams from a wide variety of companies will wear matching shirts or uniforms and will have fun, healthy and memorable running experience with an epic afterparty.

Not a runner? Walk it! Due to careful mapping, there will be a special event for walkers at the same time as the running event. Moreover, if you have a desire to participate but for some reasons can't run or walk, there is a variety of registration options for volunteers, supporters and fundraisers, as well as a direct pass for the afterparty event. Hercules Moving Company will reward the fastest runners with certificates for our moving services for more than $3000.

Who can become a participant of the Run?

Wondering if you and your team can participate? Yes! Toronto Corporate Run is open for teams of all shapes, sizes and industries. Moreover, employees from all areas of the company can participate along with the upper management and business leaders in the same fun and positive atmosphere. There is no limit to the number of people from one organization or company. However, participants may form competitive teams of 4 people, either all-male, all-female or mixed groups, as well as bring a bigger team for non-competitive categories.

Toronto Corporate Run crew encourages teams from all industries to compete in such categories:

  • Advertising
  • Manufacturing

  • Non-profit
  • Non-business

Furthermore, Toronto Corporate Run has its own “CEO” challenge where CEO's, CFO's, CIO's and CMO's of biggest Canadian companies will experience the new form of leadership and compete for special awards. There is a minimum fundraising goal for upper management, which is $500 personally or $2,500 collectively for the team. Change the boardroom – run!

Additional Attractions

Apart from the run itself, there's going to be much more attractions and fun activities. After the doors open, participants will have access to multiple stands, photo sessions and the Toronto fastest growing corporate networking. At the finish line, the fastest participants will get rewards from partners and sponsors, while non-professional runners can compete for special prizes. It is not necessary to run fast to win in the competition for:

  • Biggest team
  • Best team spirit
  • Biggest fundraising team

When the race is over, and winners are enjoying their prizes, rewards and satisfaction of the run done, you can cheer the food, beer and music of “Young Originals” band at the Afterparty stage. We encourage you to bring your friends, co-workers and neighbours to spend this evening in a fun, amusing and relaxing atmosphere.

Hercules moved my piano from an old bungalow to the second floor of my place. At the old house, there was tricky stairs and front yard fence to navigate.
